Extent of Adoption of Recommended Potato Production Technologies in Meghalaya

Improved crop technologies have a critical role in increasing yield and farmers’ income. The present study was undertaken to analyze the adoption of recommended potato East Khasi Hills district Meghalaya. revealed that majority farmers adopted like improved varieties, seed preparation, maintenance spacing, FYM application, earthing up, weeding, planting harvesting times. However, there poor land quality seeds, tuber treatment, replacement rate nutrient management. Poor these may be reason for low areas. also had medium level adoption. Therefore, should encouraged adopt extension activities training, demonstrations, etc. provided enhance their knowledge skills.
